*ANMIG October Chat: Mentorships in Libraries*

*When:* Wednesday, October 22, 2014

*Time:* 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, US/Eastern

Mentoring has been seen as an effective way to help people progress in
their careers by creating a relationship with a more experienced and
knowledgeable colleague. Whether you’re a library school student, new
librarian or have been in the field for many years having a mentor benefits
us all who need guidance in the ever-changing field of librarianship. Join
us on Wednesday, October 22 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. EDT as we address
questions such as how do you get a mentor? What is the value of having a
mentor? What mentoring programs are in your library? And much more! Please
come with your questions and experiences as this will be an informative
session.
