I have noticed lately that the hot links on author/title series statements
are only links for parts of series entry.
Author. or Title.
A good example of this is John Wesley's works in the Bicentennial edition.
John Wesley is a link. Works. 1984 is a link, but not the whole line. I
saw this in a III library.

I will also say that another ILS new on the scene (listening OCLC?) that
does the same thing, unless the entire series entry is full title
only--Bible. Old Testament. Aramaic as an entry for the Aramaic Bible only
links "Bible." That system does not trace works by John Wesley, the one
mentioned above. I suspect that this new ILS only traces 830s, but not all
8XXs as series. This new system needs work--a lot of it to meet the
accomplishments of older ILSs.

Just my 2 cents, out of frustration. Why go through all of our discussions
about cataloging, RDA, etc., when all of our efforts are not reflected in
the public display?
