Could someone please clear the debate on the author's correct authority.
AlLee, Jennifer ARN 07424276

Is that second letter of her last name a lower-case "L"? With the third letter being an upper case "L"?
Thanks!

According to the authority record you can see at VIAF.org, the second
letter is a lowercase "I" and the third is an uppercase "L":

http://viaf.org/processed/LC%7Cn%202007038055

Note where it says: "Call to pub., May 30, 2007‏ ‎‡b (form of last name
confirmed as AiLee)‏".

If you look at her website you can see that her name is "a-l-l-e-e" (see book cover) but she uses the upper/lower case format of "A-l-L-e-e" and sometimes people interpret the second "el" as upper case "I".

Have to wonder about the publisher contact who told the cataloger that the second letter was the letter "i" (eye) instead of "l" (el). At least the 100 form in the authority record is correct!

I have to say, the author's insistence on using a sans serif font for every presentation of her name on her web site does NOT make this easy to figure out. As Mary pointed out, at least the book cover images show it more clearly.

Lorel,
According to the Library of Congress Authorities website, yes the two "Ls" are capitalized differently; this first one is lowercase and the second one is upper case.

Looking at the 400, my guess would be that the second letter is an upper-case I (letter i)
